Currently haven’t washed my hair in 6 days, lost my house keys and spent most of the day yesterday hungover. Adulting in 2021 is off to an epic start.

I’ve been getting a lot of messages recently fro

I’ve been getting a lot of messages recently from you guys about wanting to shrink your pores. When it comes to shrinking pores, there are very select treatments you need to look to.

The bigger your pores, the more you will probably need to look to cosmetic treatments such as lasers and peels. However I have listed a few things below that are truly effective when done consistently. I broke it down into two lists. At Home Remedies and Cosmetic Treatments.

- At Home Remedies
1. Exfoliate 2-3 times a week. Chemical exfoliants are the best.
2. Use topical retinoids.
3. Salicylic or Glycolic acids.
4. Cleanse consistently. Pores become enlarged when clogged with dirt, oil, dead skin cells etc...Makeup remover wipes do not count!

- Cosmetic Treatments.
1. Chemical Peels
2. Microneedling
3. Laser Resurfacing
4. Ablative lasers for people with significantly large pores.

Blasting country music and taking product shots today. So while I’m at it, thought I would share my top 5 tricks for flatlays/product shots.

1. Use soft natural light
2. If you don’t have a ton to work with, taking a product shot against a neutral surface/wall in a shadow with just a ray of sunlight hitting the product always looks chic.
3. I like to pick a color palette, and have all products in the shot align with those colors
4. I like to add depth and volume with layering and stacking products/accessories
5. Get some inspo boards together on Pinterest. Have cute accessories on hand to add in the shot like gold jewelry, silk scrunches, etc....
